Jury Assessment

Step 1

All valid applicants will be considered to be adjucated by the jurors

Each Juror is requested to conscientiously give a "yes" vote to 10 candidates who they considered successful to continue to be adhjucated further, by filling the Lukico Assessment Form

The Jurors are requested to award points to the 10 participating candidates as follows:

  • Points shall be given on a scale from 1 to 10 where 10 is the best score

  • Points shall be given for each Success Criteria

  • It is not possible to give the same number of points to more than one candidate

  • The 5 candidates who receive the highest number of points will be assessed in step two

Step 2

There are 5 qualified candidates participating in the second round

Each Juror is requested to conscientiously give a "yes" vote to 3 candidates who will then continue to round three

The Jurors are requested to award points to all 3 candidates as follows:

  • Points shall be given on a scale from 1 to 10 where 10 is the best score

  • It is not possible to give the same number of points to more than one candidate

  • the 3 candidates with the highest score will go to round three

Step 3

There are 3 qualified candidates to be adhjucated in step 3

The Popularity Vote will be added to each candidate's score

The Popularity Vote represents 3 points

The final score represents the Jury Team's score plus 3 points representing the Popularity Vote

After adding the Popularity Vote, the winners will be ranked for 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place

The candidate with the highest total number of points is the winner of the Competition; the candidate with the second highest total of points takes second place and the candidate with the lowest total of points takes third place.

The final winners will be announced as [full name, age, city of residence, title of their work]

In case of a tie breaker, a new Jury Member will be asked to join from Lukico Staff. He or she will not be informed about the current scores, in order to avoid a subjective adjudication. He or she will be required to use the Assessment Form and to assign points for each 3 applications. After adding his or her score, new final scores will determine the winners.

Special prizes

There will be given a special e-surprize for all participants, delivered via email, after the competition ends, but no later than 20 days after

The numbers of points awarded during the first three rounds will be determined according to the following ranking criteria, applicable to the Success Criteria for each form of expressive art:

  1. Not applicable

  2. Very poor

  3. Poor

  4. Below average

  5. Average

  6. Satisfactory

  7. Good

  8. Very good

  9. Excellent

  10. Outstanding

Important note: All Jury Members will assess all categories of arts expression forms, to provide an overall objective evaluation of the applications.
